International Press Trip
Mission: represent Merrell as a brand in all its different facets. On 7-8 October 2022, we invited international journalists to Spain – more specifically to the trail running mecca of the Basque Country – and the finals of the Skyrunner World Series, the Merrell Skymasters Gorbeia Suzien. Merrell is the main sponsor and usually has numerous team athletes participating in this event. During the press trip, the 12 journalists from Sweden, Spain, France, Germany and the UK were fully immersed in the brand and became part of the Merrell team themselves by getting to know the athletes, cheering them on, and also joining the launch and test run of the new Merrell MTL Skyfire 2 trail running shoe together with Merrell’s R&D team. A barefoot shoe test during an outdoor yoga session rounded off the full brand experience. Concept, strategy and press invitations were penned by us. We also took care of the press coordination, event organisation and event realisation for Merrell.
